Την Παρασκευή 19 Απριλίου, στις 18.30, συνεχίζεται στην αίθουσα εκδηλώσεων του Ελληνικού Ανοικτού Πανεπιστημίου (Τζωρτζ 4, Πλατεία Κάνιγγος) η σειρά συζητήσεων με τον γενικό τίτλο «Το τσαντίρι του Πλάτωνα/Eflatun Çadırı», με ομιλήτρια την Nazan Maksudyan και τίτλο The Armenian Genocide and survival narratives of children.
Nazan Maksudyan is Einstein guest professor at the Friedrich-Meinecke-Institut at the Freie Universität Berlin and a research associate at the Centre Marc Bloch (Berlin). Her research mainly focuses on the history of children and youth in the Ottoman Empire during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, with special interest in gender, sexuality, education, humanitarianism, and non-Muslims.
